Everything Go Media does is iterative. In other words - we work a little, show you proofs, take your feedback and rework our designs until we get your approval. We work our way through your project using this step-by-step process. In this way, we ensure that you’ll be thrilled about our final solution, and save ourselves from investing too much time in a bad direction.

Visual Site Map - Using the approved site map from our sales process, we will produce a visual flowchart of your site structure. This gives you a 10,000 foot view of how your web pages and navigation are structured.

Wireframes - As needed, we will produce wireframes (think of these as very rough preliminary designs) of your web pages. At this point we’re not trying to make them pretty, we’re just working through the user experience. Wireframes help us establish the navigation, general page layout, content hierarchy and user journeys. In some cases we will produce a functioning prototype of your website so you can click through it to get the best feel for how your website will work once it’s built.

Designs - Once the wireframes are approved, we’ll start by designing several homepage concepts. Based on your feedback, we work through several rounds of homepage designs until you’re thrilled. Using the approved homepage design, we establish the site’s global styles and interior page templates. Additional interior pages are also designed in this phase, but most pages are typically designed in browser.

Development - When the homepage and interior page templates are approved, we’re ready to start writing code. This work is mostly behind the scenes, but the result will be a living website live on a stage server that you can view online.

Design in Browser - After the stage is set up and the initial development work is done, we can now go in and start building out the rest of your website pages. We do this work ‘in browser’, meaning that we are designing and coding your web pages live on the internet. These pages we build are still considered proofs and you’ll be able to provide feedback just like a normal design proof.

Content Population - As pages are completed we work with you to add images, copy, videos, documents and any other content you have to the website.

Search Engine Optimization - Using keyword analysis and the Yoast SEO plugin, we go through the site and make sure all your foundational optimization is in place for launch.

Quality Control and Launch - Once the pages are fully populated we review the site thoroughly, testing for bugs and refining the mobile experience. When everything is to your satisfaction, we launch the website.

Simply put, your web pages scale and rearrange themselves automatically based on the size of the user's screen. While no website looks perfect on every device, we do our best to make sure your website looks great on the most common screen sizes. This includes optimizing your website for desktop, laptop, tablets and cell phones. Once we complete construction of your website, you're able to review your website on several devices and give us feedback on the experience. We can then fine tune the experience.

Today, WordPress powers 34% of the entire internet, so we know search engines are paying close attention to them. Additionally, every Go Media website is preloaded with Yoast, the #1 website SEO plugin. Yoast allows even a novice to optimize their own website for search engines.

Using Google’s analytics and tools, we can do keyword research and optimization for you. We’re also willing to teach you and let you do that work yourself. The choice is yours.
